  • Arrive into Brisbane by 4.00pm to check into your accommodation. Meet the group in the early evening for a welcome dinner. (D)

Day 2Brisbane to Toowoomba (B, L, D)

  • Today you travel over the Great Dividing Range to Queensland’s Garden City; Toowoomba, with a tasty lunch and time to explore the restored heritage Glengallan Homestead. (B, L, D)
    Overnight: Toowoomba

Day 3Toowoomba (B, L, D)

  • Take in the sights of Toowoomba on a city heritage tour followed by lunch with a view at Picnic Point. The afternoon is yours to spend at leisure. (B, L, D)

Day 4Toowoomba to Roma (B, L, D)

  • On your journey towards Roma you take in the quaint town of Crows Nest to sample local wines before lunch at a heritage hotel. In the afternoon you will explore the historical village of Miles before continuing on to Roma. (B, L, D)

Day 5Roma to Charleville (B, L, D)

  • This morning you take a walk through the Roma Saleyards with a retired stockman for a full insight into their daily lives.  After a relaxed lunch in Charleville your afternoon is at leisure. In the evening you gather for dinner before a star gazing experience. (B, L, D)

Day 6Charleville to Longreach (B, L, D)

  • Your journey today takes you to Longreach, known as the heart of the Outback. On arrival you enjoy a sunset cruise on the idyllic Thomson River. (B, L, D)

  • After breakfast you will explore The Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame and Qantas Founder Museum at your own pace before a relaxed group dinner. (B, L, D)

  • This morning you visit the Dinosaur Canyon Centre with a free afternoon in Winton to explore local attractions of the quirky little town. (B, L, D)

  • As you head towards the coast, you will stop at the Flinders Discovery Centre to marvel at the locally discovered prehistoric artifacts on display. (B, L, D)

  • Today you have half a day to relax and explore the stunning Magnetic Island and its surrounding reefs. Your adventure ends with a celebratory farewell dinner. (B, L, D)
