Cherryl has been in the tourism and travel industry for her entire working career. In various capacities of reservations, customer service and sales and marketing she started with domestic coach touring and ski holidays in New Zealand, followed by two years in retail and corporate travel in Papua New Guinea, and then sales and key account management with Singapore Airlines and Qantas Airways. But it was an innovative and first in the market fly/cruise/coach campaign with Globus & Cosmos Tours, and Joe and Donal as representatives of Cunard’s then iconic QE2 that resulted in her love of all things cruising for some 30 years. Cherryl is passionate about the cruise industry. Small, medium or large ships, luxury, mainstream, boutique, destination or expedition cruising – there is a cruise to suit everyone’s needs and interest. Drawing from knowledge and experience, and years of travelling around New Zealand, when Covid-19 came along and the borders closed, Cherryl was well placed to create unique and boutique packages with interesting content, to give New Zealanders who would normally be travelling overseas, the opportunity for some authentic NZ holidays.
